Please read the attched By-election special newsletter from John Dabell.
Many residents have been impressed by Conservative candidate John Dabell and are backing him to win the Town Council by-election on Thursday 13th February. The by-election has been called because the current Town Councillor has had to step down due to conflicting work commitments.
John has lived in East Grinstead for 23 years and, following a successful business career, now works at Imberhorne School. He is heavily involved in the community and volunteers as a governor at Queen Victoria Hospital and Felbridge Primary School.
Locally, the Conservatives are working hard to deliver new vision and leadership, having taken over the running of the Town Council in 2011. They’re making good progress:
• A Neighbourhood Plan has been drafted to reflect and promote the town’s needs
• The redevelopment of the town centre has got the green light
• Big events such as the Olympic Torch and Euro League hockey have come to town
John says: “I hope to have the opportunity to serve the town. As a local resident, I will ensure that the community’s views are heard at the Town Council”.
