Cllr Sandy Ellis has had the pleasure of working with experts who specialise in bees, pollination & habits for our wildflower over the years In
Her role as a local councillor.
Sandy said "nature has helped create some stunning wildflower meadows around Haywards Heath, we initially gave a little helping hand by using a Monet seed mix, Which has produced self seeding sites which are lovingly cared for by Haywards Heath town council brilliant groundstaff.
Our landscape is changed constantly in colour as the season’s & nature does it’s job. These meadows are appreciated by our busy bees & wildlife, but also enhances our love & respect for the great outdoors. Scything method of cutting is used to preserve seed dispersal & promote growth.
It’s been an honour & a privilege working with many experts who expertise keeps our environment in safe hands."
