This year's annual Conservative Party Conference was fantastic. Held in Manchester Central and the Midland Hotel for four days of speeches, debates and receptions (plus a huge range of fringe events, and exhibitors), this was an exciting few days with a huge amount of variety.
For those who weren't able to attend, there is a YouTube playlist of the main speeches, including the rousing closing speech from Prime Minister David Cameron.
The Conference was an excellent opportunity to hear about the party's ideas, policies, and plans for the future. Of special interest to Mid Sussex locals was the Sussex Police and Crime Commissioner Katy Bourne speaking on the main stage on the Tuesday, explaining the important role Commissioners play in modern policing.
