Last week, Sir Nicholas hosted two public meetings, one at the Martindale Centre in Horsted Keynes, followed by another at the Sidney West Centre in Burgess Hill. Speaking about these events, Sir Nicholas said: “It was wonderful to see so many local residents at the public meetings, and I am grateful to all for their challenging and thoughtful questions”.
In addition to the public meetings, Sir Nicholas visited the Little Angels Centre in Haywards Heath, which provides a safe environment where children from separated families can spend quality time with one or both of their parents.
On Wednesday, Sir Nicholas took part in a Hustings event hosted by Churches Together at the Jubilee Community Centre in East Grinstead.
Finally, Sir Nicholas joined local Conservative candidates to show a united front in opposition to the Mayfield new town proposal.
