Kristy Adams, a local business woman has been selected as the Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Mid Sussex at the next general election.
She will defend the seat for the Conservatives.
Following the recent boundary changes Mid Sussex constituency has now been split in two.
Mims Davies has been selected to represent the new seat of East Grinstead and Uckfield.
Members of Mid Sussex Conservative Association voted to select Kristy as their candidate at a Special General Meeting held on Saturday 2nd September
at Warden Park School in Cuckfield.
Kristy grew up and lives in the constituency, she attended Handcross Primary and Warden Park schools.
Kristy was elected as a Mid Sussex District Councillor for Bolney, she has been an active campaigner on issues that matter to local residents here in Mid Sussex.
In 2022, she worked with local residents to protect Bolney village from over development and it is a priority for her to defend the rest of Mid Sussex.
Her business skills in the retail sector and the building industry make her an ideal candidate to engage the key stakeholders in delivering the town centre
Burgess Hill needs and deserves.
Kristy will also champion a modern arts and entertainment centre for Haywards Heath.
